Position Overview:
As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of our students. This position involves working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to identify and address speech and language disorders, ensuring that every student can succeed academically and socially.

Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and professionals, you'll identify and address speech and language disorders, ensuring every student's academic and social success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Offer professional development and support to teachers and staff on speech and language topics.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Oregon state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Preferably, have experience working in a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
