About The Position
ID: 49276838 Shift: 10H Days Description: Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments these guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time worked surgery and cardiac transplant surgery: Open vascular/ endovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, thoracic robotics & general surgery COVID vaccine required+ booster - Medical exemption acceptable Flu vaccine required - medical exemptions are acceptable 10H Days 6:45-3:15pm 1st 2 weeks: 5 - 8 hr days/week for orientation 4-10s, 6:45a-5:15p (primary), 7:30a-6:00p, 9-7:30p 1 weekend month- Cardiac, cardiac transplant and/or Endo vascular call 7:00p Fri 645a Mon 2 hr CVI short call shifts, 1x week 515-715p 30 min response on call CVI call 1x week 7:00p or 7:30p-6:45a/7a (cardiac / cardiac transplant and/ or endovascular) Cardiac surgery and cardiac transplant surgery NATIONAL CERTIFICATION REQUIRED - 1-3 years related work experience required. American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate Basic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility) Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday) NM to interview and offer Please provide dates and times available for interview at time of submission ALL RTO REQUESTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF SUB Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as travel, perm or per diem within the last year will not be accepted - MUST be separated from facility for one year to be considered.
