Full Time Day Shift
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Thestaff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth throughthe lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan,implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functionswithin the framework of the policies and procedures of theorganization and demonstrates professional growth andaccountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintainingstandards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of allassigned staff in the provision of quality nursingcare.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED:
Graduate of a nursing program
MINIMUMEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
New Graduates of a nursing programeligible
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as aRegistered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLScertification required.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
For PRN positions: One year of nursingexperience in a hospital setting is required
Bachelorsdegree preferred
Advanced certification in field ofspecialty, if applicable
Nursing Experience in HospitalSetting Preferred
