Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Lowell, MA for the 2024-25 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving K-8th grade students' quality of life through evidence-based practice and personalized treatment plans. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility alongside experienced healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students' functional abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to help students achieve their goals.
- Implement appropriate therapeutic exercises and modalities.
- Educate students, families, and school staff on home exercise programs and self-care techniques.
- Communicate effectively with educators, administrators, and healthcare professionals regarding student progress.
Requirements:
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts.
- Proven experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
Additional Information:
- Start Date: August 2024
- End Date: June 2025
- Hours: 12 per week (flexible schedule)
