North Thurston School District 3, located in Lacey, WA, is a welcoming and inclusive district dedicated to providing high-quality education to its students. With multiple needs for the upcoming 2024-25 school year, we are seeking dedicated and passionate SLPs to join our team.

Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Location: Lacey, WA (Olympia area)
  • Status of Renewing RFP: Renewing RFP in early June, with the possibility of interviews earlier
  • Number of Openings: Multiple needs
  • Start Date: 2024-25 school year

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs and communication disorders
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of services provided
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings as needed

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Washington state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education
