Job Summary:

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls is seeking an employed BE/BC Pulmonologist to provide inpatient and outpatient care, serving as a GME faculty member to support Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residency programs.
 
 Qualified Candidates: 
  • Board certified or board eligible 
  • ABIM/AOBIM or ABFM/AOBFM board certified or eligible in Pulmonary Medicine
  • Idaho licensure and DEA
  • Open to J-1 visa candidates
  • Participation as a faculty member in an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency program. Graduate medical education experience prior to appointment is a plus.
  • Willing to combine teaching, clinical responsibility and administrative time
  • Participate as a teaching faculty as well as subspecialty coordinator specializing in pulmonology for the GME program including precepting on rotations, occasional didactic lectures, and administrative duties. (up to 20 hours a month)
  • The position will involve attending on the inpatient consultation services and outpatient clinics.
