About The Position
American Medical Staffing (AMS) puts you first, and we are currently seeking a Correctional – Physical Therapist to join our corrections medical team in Waverly, Virginia. This is a maximum security state men's prison with a maximum capacity of 1,139 inmates.
PT – Corrections Job Details:- Pay Rate: $1,145 to $1,345 per week
- Schedule: Flexible
- Available Shift: Day, 2-3 shifts per week
- Start Date: Two weeks from offer
- Located In: Waverly, Virginia
- Requirements: Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a corrections or similar setting, have a valid Physical Therapist license and be willing to obtain VA licensure.
As a Correctional Physical Therapist you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to incarcerated individuals, contributing to their well-being and rehabilitation. You will collaborate with healthcare providers and correctional staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
