Chipton-Ross is seeking a Payroll Analyst for a remote contract opportunity in Lakeland, FL.

This position will require to be onsite once or twice a year. If not local, you must be willing to travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and processing of U.S. payroll transactions. Maintain payroll data and respond to tier two level payroll inquires
Support in-house payroll processing including but not limited to final pay processing, calculate retro payments, tax balance adjustments, prepare W2c's, over payments, balance benefits, set up deductions and arrears. Maintain backup support for audit and tracking purposes.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Proven ability to work within a fast pace high volume payroll team
Proven ability to react quickly and timely to payroll inquires
Ability to work remotely
Quick to adapt to systems and computers
Proficient in excel

EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED
Higher education is preferred

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time
