Job Title: Onsite Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Elizabeth, CO

Job Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Start Date: August 6, 2024

End Date: May 21, 2025

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Elizabeth, CO. The SLP will provide high-quality speech and language services to students in a school setting. This role requires a professional who is passionate about helping students achieve their full potential through effective communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups, to address speech and language goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs within the educational environment.
  • Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to intervention plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and recommendations.
  • Educate and support school personnel and families on communication strategies and interventions.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Ability to obtain a Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license per state requirements.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
