Senior Accountant - Inventory Experience Required Location: North Metro Atlanta About the RoleAre you a detail-oriented accounting professional ready to make an impact in a dynamic, growth-oriented company? We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage critical financial operations, ensure compliance, and drive process improvements. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, support audits, and contribute to strategic decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage general ledger activity and ensure timely, accurate posting of journal entries. Lead month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and preparation of consolidated financial statements. Prepare monthly collateral reporting for lenders. File sales and property tax returns and other compliance reports. Perform financial and trend analyses to support business decisions. Oversee costing and inventory accounting processes. Support Controller-led third-party audits (senior lender, insurance, CPA firm). Assist with the annual physical inventory process. Provide ad hoc reports and analysis as requested. Take on additional responsibilities to support the accounting function. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including senior-level responsibilities in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment. Experience with engineered industrial metal products is a plus. CPA or CMA designation (active or inactive) preferred. Background in $50-$100 million+ growth-oriented companies is a plus. Familiarity with multiple domestic and international entities and consolidated financial reporting. Comfort working with both in-house and third-party international accounting providers. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Proficiency in SAGE 100 or similar ERP software. Demonstrated ability to implement, streamline, and automate accounting and reporting processes. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. #ZRCFS #LI-CM4 #INNOV2025
