Are you a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a rewarding opportunity in Cicero, IL? Soliant Health is actively looking for a qualified SLP to join a dynamic school district team for the current school year. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of students while working in a supportive educational environment.

Position Overview:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and reach their full potential. You will assess and diagnose speech and language disorders, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with educators and parents to support students' progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and goals.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address communication challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure students receive the necessary support.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Stay current on best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student therapy and progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedication to helping students succeed and overcome communication challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
