The ideal candidate is has experience in hotel sales processes, dedicated to exceeding expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Generation: Sell guest rooms, meeting spaces, and other Hyatt services to customer groups, managing accounts and generating new business.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections and presentations, showcasing the unique offerings of Hyatt Regency Lost Pines.
  • Proposal Preparation: Prepare and present effective proposals, ensuring all documentation is well-organized and accurate.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and catering teams, participating in and potentially leading event meetings and staff discussions.
  • Negotiation and Agreements: Create, negotiate, and execute group sales agreements with the approval of appropriate channels.
  • Market Analysis: Utilize Hyatt systems to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in general computer knowledge; familiarity with Hyatt Sales Systems is a plus.
  • Completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training is preferred.
  • Strong skills in selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentations.
  • Valid driver's license.

Hybrid Qualifications:

Same as those outlined above but also include the following:

  • On-site required 2 to 3 days per week
  • High Speed internet and personal phone
  • At home office space within 90 miles (1.5 hours) of resort
