Job Description:

As a School Occupational Therapist (OT), you will play a pivotal role in supporting our diverse student community's physical and cognitive development. Your expertise in occupational therapy will contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, where students can flourish academically and personally.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' unique needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide engaging and effective occupational therapy sessions to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, and overall functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals into the academic curriculum.
  • Offer support and training to teachers and staff in implementing therapeutic strategies in the classroom.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide progress reports to parents and the educational team.

Requirements:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Indiana.
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
