Early Childhood Teacher

We are looking for full-time Lead Teachers, wanting to start in the next four weeks, to work with early childhood education centers, preschools, and daycares across the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area. 

As a Lead Teacher, you will support in executing lesson plans, managing classrooms as well as collaborate with other teachers in an early childhood setting. In this role, you will also be responsible for actively engaging with the children throughout the day and supporting their development. 

In this role, it will provide the next step in developing your career in Early Childhood Education. You will gain exposure to communicating updates with parents on their child's development and leading lesson plans while learning from other teachers at the center. This role comes with a competitive hourly rate between $17 - $23 per hour, paid weekly. With this role, there is no requirement to work weekends and will be on a Monday to Friday schedule within hours of 7:30 to 4:30 pm or 8:15 am - 5:15 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Assist in compiling classroom communications
• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Maintaining a safe learning environment
• Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the students’ learning experiences and support them as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• Pediatric First aid & CPR certification
• 1-year experience working with children in a daycare center as a Teacher Aide or Assistant 
• Applicants must have basic-level proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• CDA 
• 1+ years of experience as a Lead Teacher 
• Daycare training (SUID/ SIDS, AHT, or similar)
• Basic understanding of classroom expectations
