Position Overview:
Soliant isseeking a qualified and enthusiastic School Psychologist to join our dedicated team. The School Psychologist will play a crucial role in supporting the overall well-being of our students, promoting a positive school culture, and collaborating with educators and parents to enhance the educational experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify academic, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to students, addressing social-emotional and behavioral concerns.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational plans for students with special needs.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and provide support to students in times of need.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of school psychology.


Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license in the state of North Carolina.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to special education services.
  • Experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing counseling services in an educational setting.
