Job Summary

The Shop Technician / Mechanic is proficient in maintenance of all classes of equipment and qualified to diagnose and repair all products and equipment. The Shop Technician / Mechanicshould communicate accurately and timely any issues or concerns through open communication while sharing technical knowledge and experience in a positive manner where other technicians may be able to learn from this.

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Ensure proper maintenance is performed on any ProLift Toyota Material Handling vehicles assigned

  • Maintain adequate and accurate parts inventory assigned

  • Perform the service job on time and right the first time

  • Repair and service lift trucks and other equipment

  • Promote ProLift Toyota Material Handling's values, mission and purpose of "Helping People Carry the Load" to ensure we are customers', vendors' and associates' "Indispensable Partner".

  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Educational/Job Requirements

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent, Tech School Preferred

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Proficient with Computer/Tablet skills

  • 2 years' mechanical experience preferred
