EC Teacher

Soliant Education is seeking a compassionate and skilled Elementary Resource EC Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. This full-time, contracted position offers an exciting opportunity to support and guide students with exceptional needs in an elementary school setting. As an Elementary Resource EC Teacher, you will be instrumental in delivering tailored instruction and fostering an inclusive learning environment for students requiring additional support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of elementary students with exceptionalities.
• Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the resource curriculum.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support to enhance academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and tools to address diverse learning styles and needs.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Valid teaching license or certification in Special Education or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working with elementary students with exceptionalities in a resource setting.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
• Commitment to professional growth and ongoing learning.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
• Full-time position for the entire school year.
• Contracted through Soliant Education.
