Job Description:

Soliant Education is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year in the Cuthbert, GA area. This is a full-time position focusing on elementary students, with an immediate interview and start date.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional materials to meet students' diverse needs.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
• Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to enhance learning.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid state certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with elementary students with special needs is preferred.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children.
