We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Cicero, IL. This school-based position offers the opportunity to support students in developing the skills they need for academic success and daily living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students occupational performance, including fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance students independence and participation in school activities.
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and document students' progress and adapt interventions as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to the development of educational strategies.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Illinois state OT license or eligibility for licensure.
