The All-Source Intelligence Analyst will provide expertise in analyzing intelligence from multiple sources to assess and interpret national security issues, with a focus on North Korea. Responsibilities include producing intelligence products, drafting assessments, and coordinating intelligence production. The analyst will also translate documents between Korean and English, prepare briefings, and collaborate with various defense and intelligence entities. This role requires proficiency in utilizing intelligence automated systems and maintaining intelligence information-sharing databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature.
- Produces intelligence products associated with North Korea, including its military, political leadership, national military strategy, strategic doctrine, regional relations, and security issues.
- Assists in drafting or authoring intelligence assessments pertaining to specific countries and/or regions based on political characteristics and/or military capabilities.
- Translates, conducts quality review, and updates all documents and products to and from Korean and English, as requested by the Government.
- Prepares Intelligence Information Reports (IIR).
Additional Responsibilities
- Tracks and coordinates intelligence production requirements, preparing studies, publications, and briefings.
- Maintains and manipulates intelligence information-sharing databases, data formats, and products, and shared directories.
- Utilizes intelligence automated systems such as COLISEUM, MIDB, MARS, CHROME, HOTR, CRATE, and other multi-intelligence disciplines and analysis tools.
- Collaborates with USINDOPACOM, Services, Intelligence Community (IC), and DIA HQ production personnel to coordinate and synchronize all-source intelligence.
- Performs as U.S. J22/C22 points of contact (POC) to the Republic of Korea (ROK) Ministry of National Defense (MND), Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), and component commands to facilitate DIA collaboration on tradecraft standards.
- Facilitates data entry and retrieval in support of coordinated prioritization of community efforts and maintenance to correct USFK J2-identified ADB and MIDB/MARS deficiencies.
- Participates in multiple exercises yearly.
- Acts as a subject matter expert in their assigned domain.

Qualifications:
- Clear understanding of DIA writing, tradecraft, and briefing.
- Familiarity with classified research tools.
- Comfort in briefing senior leadership.
- Experience working side by side with host nation partners.
- Knowledge of MIDB or equivalent system operating procedures and production standards.
- Ability to recognize data gaps, corruption, and record associations to ensure data currency, quality, and consistency.

Required Education & Experience:
- 8+ years of Intelligence Analysis experience and either a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
