Description: Main Industries has been serving the marine and industrial market for over 40 years. Beginning as a premiere marine coatings company, Main has grown into a multi-craft industry leader in marine and industrial scaffolding and access in addition to its decades of experience in marine and industrial surface prep and coatings. Main Industries is currently hiring for a full-time CDL driver Class A for our Hampton location. No relocation or per diem available. Job Type: Full-time, hourly Requirements: Must be at least 18 years' old Must be able to drive operate a Manual Proven work experience as a truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable DOT truck driving rules and regulations No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations Valid truck driving license Experience working in a physically demanding environment, confined spaces and working at heights Understand and carry out verbal directions given by supervisor Understand and obey all posted warning, caution, notification and/or hazards signs posted on a job site Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance Forklift training/certification a plus (additional training will be required once hired for those using a forklift) Must be able to climb and work at elevated heights, 50+ feet A criminal background check may be required Reliable transportation a must Normal Working Hours 6am-2:30pm Monday- Friday Benefits: In addition to competitive pay, we provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
