Soliant Education is seeking a qualified Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Specialist for a part-time position in Easton, CT. This role involves providing both direct and consulting services to a caseload of 9 students, ranging from elementary to high school levels. The position is onsite only, with a flexible schedule and 15 weekly hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct educational services and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Provide consulting services to school staff and parents to enhance the educational experience of students.
  • Work itinerantly across multiple grade levels, from elementary through high school.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to address individual student needs.

Qualifications:

  • Active TOHI (Teacher of the Hearing Impaired) CT Certification.
  • Experience working with deaf and hard of hearing students in various educational settings.
  • Ability to provide both direct and consulting services effectively.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Additional Information:

  • Part-time position with 15 weekly hours.
  • Onsite work required.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate various school needs.
