Calling on Clinical Fellows or ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologists who want to work in school settings, and want to be based in the area of Fredericksburg, VA. Soliant has partnered with a local school district and is seeking applicants for the upcoming school year.

How does one qualify as a traveler?

  • Will you be arranging temporary housing during the school year?
  • Will you be commuting 75+ miles to work?

If so, you qualify for housing and/or meals and incidentals stipends

As a schools-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

  • Evaluate new referrals on their communication abilities and determine student eligibility for speech services
  • Develop Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals, and make recommendations for speech services
  • Re-evaluate students on a periodic basis, and updating IEP goals if needed
  • Conductmeetings and completereports as part of the referral or dismissal process for speech students
  • Documentservices service logs, treatment notes, and track student progress with a mix of observations or testing data

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organization, time management, and the ability to prioritize in a manner consistent with department guidelines
  • Flexibility and the ability to foster a collegial work environment

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • SLP license from the VirginiaBoard of Speech-Language Pathology
