We're hiring aFlight Paramedic to work with our teamof air transportation experts to safely transport patients to andfrom medical facilities as well as scene call work. Safety,effective and efficient patient care is a key pillar of ourservices, therefore you'll work on a quality, professional teamthat is committed to high safety standards for the crew and ourcustomers.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for completion andsubmission of electronic patient care record for each dispatchedflight within the specified timeframe
  • Responsible for daily base checks, whichincludes narcotic count.
  • Provide pre-hospitaland intra-hospital advanced life support care from initial contactuntil patient care is relinquished to the accepting medicalfacility maintaining thorough patient caredocumentation.
  • Maintains competency inknowledge and psychomotor skills by participating in ongoinglaboratory and clinical experiences.
  • Maintaindocumentation of required licensure, certifications, continuingeducation, safety, and advanced procedures in the EmployeeEducation Manual
  • Knowledgeable in use androutine maintenance of all equipment and supplies used by emergencyprograms.
  • Maintains positive interpersonalrelationships with colleagues, EMS representatives, hospitals, andthe public.
  • Functions as a medical flightmember.
  • Attends pre-mission briefings andmission debriefing and completes necessarydocumentation.
  • Assists in pre-mission liftoffchecklist and Pilot assistance when needed, i.e. radio,navigational, and visual observationactivities
  • Complies with safety standards toassure safety of self, medical personnel, patient, and equipmentprior to liftoff.
  • Conducts aircraft safetybriefings as needed.
  • Responsible for fillingopen or vacant shifts within assigned area as deemed appropriate bythe RegionalDirector


MinimumRequired Qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years'experience in an ALS or critical care settingrequired.

FlightExperience PreferredEducation:
  • CurrentEMT-P license/certification in the states served by the assignedarea required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP requiredprior to flight status. Will be required to obtain traumacertification within 12 months ofhire.
  • Advanced Certification (FP-C) preferred,required within 24 months from date ofhire.
  • Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS,PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
  • NREMT-Pcertification may be required in assignedarea.
