What You Will Be Doing
As a Flight Line Supervisor, you'll lead a skilled team responsible for maintaining and servicing legacy aircraft on the flight line. Leveraging your expertise in aerospace manufacturing and maintenance methodologies, you'll ensure the safe and efficient operation of flight line activities. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise specific aircraft manufacturing areas, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Strategically set priorities and effectively allocate resources to support production schedules, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to timelines.
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of skilled Flight Line technicians, conducting regular performance evaluations, identifying development opportunities, and fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance.
- Oversee employee training programs and ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Act as a primary point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, addressing their inquiries, needs, and concerns in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner.
- Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives across functional areas, leveraging best practices, innovative solutions, and lessons learned to enhance overall performance and productivity.

Basic Qualifications:
6 years Flight Line Experience
Candidate must have two-year degree or 4 years Leadership experience.
Experience leading a team to meet critical schedules, resolve complex and/or time sensitive technical or operational issues.
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
Desired Skills:
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for use at all levels of the organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels.
• Operate in a team environment.
• Demonstrated skills with lean manufacturing techniques.
• Well-rounded knowledge of Quality systems
• Strong organizational skills.
• Manufacturing/productions methodologies & Aircraft maintenance
• BA degree or equivalent experience/combined education in related field of study.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
