Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Stepney, CTArea
Schedule: Full-time, On-site
Start Date: ASAP

Job Description:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a Pre-K grade setting.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to create a supportive learning environment.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies and accommodations to promote student engagement and academic success.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure continuous growth.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification/license in Special Education (ORcertification preferred).
- Experience working with students with disabilities, particularly in a middle school setting.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
