Soliant has partnered with a school in Hempstead, NY, and is seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Speech-Language Pathologist to support evaluations and services with Spanish speaking students.

Requirements:

  • New York SLP license OR
  • TSSLD certificate from the Department of Education
  • 1 year of Speech Therapy experience in school settings preferred

Pay and benefits:

  • Hourly W2 pay of $55 to $65/hr, dependent on experience
  • Health, vision and dental insurance

Description of Duties:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Present evaluation results and propose IEP (Individual Education Plan) goals at IEP meetings
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
