Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in the Wilton, CT area for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time, on-site position will focus on supporting middle school students. If you are passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop appropriate interventions.
- Provide counseling and support to students to address emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive educational environments.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for improvement.
- Promote a positive and inclusive school climate through workshops and training for staff and students.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid Connecticut state certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with middle school students is preferred.
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
