Patient Services Representative

Description:
Looking to add a full-time PATIENT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE who will be cross-trained to handle Phone Room, Patient Registration, and Front Desk, filling in wherever needed. Phone Room:• Provide excellent customer service to patients and coworkers.• Operates multi-line telephone to connect interoffice and house calls.• Register patients and schedule appointments.• Retrieve insurance information.• Other duties as assigned.Front Desk:• Opening up clinic tasks for first patient arrival.• Greeting patients as they walk in.• Check-in duties (collect copays, scan insurance cards, print encounter forms, update registration asneeded).• Schedule appointments.• Maintain tidy reception/waiting areas.• Other duties as assigned to maintain a cohesive, friendly, welcoming environment for our patients andguests.Patient Registration:• Meet and assist patients with completing registration forms.• Call patients as needed to obtain needed information for appointments.• Verify patient record is up to date and accurate; make appropriate updates as needed.
