Occupational Therapist - Billerica, MA

We are actively interviewing for a School Occupational Therapist who is looking for a new opportunity. As a School Occupational Therapist, you will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective strategies that promote students' independence, participation, and success in school activities.

Job Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited school
  • Must have Massachusetts OT license
  • Previous experience working in schools or with children preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' motor, sensory, and developmental needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create individualized intervention plans.
  • Design and implement therapeutic activities and interventions to enhance students' functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with school staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
  • Educate school staff, parents, and caregivers on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals.
