Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses,implements or delegates, plans, and evaluates total nursing careand functions in accordance with established philosophy, providingand directing patient care for a group of patients. The RegisteredNurse (RN) relates effectively with other shifts/departments foroptimal continuity of care. The Registered Nurse (RN) providesclinical supervision for entry level nurses and assists in theirdevelopment.

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – SanMarcos, which originated in 1923 as Hays County Soldiers, Sailorsand Marines Memorial Hospital, opened at its current Wonder WorldDrive location in 1983. Our staff of more than 700 Associates workswith more than 300 active and consulting physicians to providequality services to patients and their families. In addition to interventional cardiacservices, CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – San Marcos is a CertifiedChest Pain Center and an accredited Primary Stroke Center. We leadthe region in da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery and offers avariety of specialty care services including medical imaging,rehabilitation, hospice, women’s services and more.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree inNursing, preferred.
  • 1 year of experience inthe related nursing specialty preferred.
  • BLSrequired
  • RN License in state of employment orcompact
