Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)

Job Description:
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders.
  • Conduct assessments to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language goals.
  • Educate and support school staff on strategies to enhance communication skills in the classroom.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language assessment tools and therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and students.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.
