Pay: $24perhour


TheEngineer 2 oversees the day to day engineering operations in thelodge. This includes but is not limited to project management,general life safety, ordering, working with vendors. Responsiblefor completing preventative maintenance and repairs through-out thehotel guestrooms, public spaces, equipment, buildings &grounds.


Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshootand perform basic repair on all types of equipment (e.g., pump andmotor replacement), plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets and unclogdrains), electrical equipment including lamps, cosmetic items,extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replaceelectrical switches and outlets, and other guestroomitems.
  • Assure each day’s activities andproblems that occur are communicated to the other shifts usingapproved communication programs andstandards.
  • Ensures that all work performed isconducted in a safe and timely manner adhering to standards ofsafety and effective equipmentutilization.
  • Maintains working knowledge ofdepartmental safety procedures. Attends safety-training programsand in-service as required for continueddevelopment.
  • Maintains the necessary servicerecords on mechanical and structuralsystems.
  • Ensure all standard operatingprocedures are followed for park operation, employee relations,timekeeping and safety. Including ensuring all daily, weekly andmonthly documentation is being completed.
  • Otherduties as deemed appropriate by the Assistant Director ofEngineering.


Qualifications:

  • TechnicalDegree
  • TechnicalTraining
  • Trade RelatedCertifications
  • Hospitality, Healthcare orrelated industry experience
  • Trade relatedcertifications preferred in HVAC and/orElectrical
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, andplace objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds withoutassistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders. Reachoverhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling,and stooping. Ability to complete work at heights up to 50 feetusing ladders, harnesses and lifts.
  • Computerskills including knowledge of database software, internet software,order processing systems, Microsoft Officesuite.
  • Valid Driver’sLicense
