The ideal candidate will assist in delivering high-quality occupational therapy care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, helping them regain independence and improve daily functioning.Key Responsibilities:Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational TherapistAssist patients with therapeutic activities to improve strength, coordination, and mobilityMonitor and document patient progress and responses to treatmentEducate patients and caregivers on techniques to enhance safety and independenceCollaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure continuity of careMaintain accurate records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standardsQualifications:Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant programCurrent North Carolina COTA license or eligibility to obtainNBCOT certificationMinimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentContract Type:Travel assignmentLifepoint Job ID #6-940611.
