Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Newton, MA

Are you an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a rewarding role within a vibrant school-based team? Soliant is currently recruiting for a dedicated SLP to join our esteemed organization. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in positively impacting the lives of individuals managing communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Details:

- Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist
- Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
- Duration: Immediate start until June 21st
- Location: Newton, MA

Responsibilities:

- Perform thorough assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop customized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes, individual goals, and evidence-based methodologies.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions encompassing speech and language therapy, voice therapy, fluency therapy, and swallowing therapy.
- Implement diverse techniques and approaches to enhance communication abilities, refine speech articulation, and foster language comprehension and expression.
- Foster collaborative relationships with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary professionals to offer guidance and assistance to students managing communication challenges.
- Maintain regular progress monitoring and documentation, adapting treatment plans as necessary, and providing ongoing assessment of outcomes.

Qualifications:

- Possession of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
- Preference for Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience working with diverse populations and various age groups is highly valued.
- Strong proficiency in assessment tools, therapeutic methods, and evidence-based practices within speech-language pathology.
