Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This fulltime contracted position is for a school district in the Corinth, TX area, with a commitment from August 14, 2024, to May 23, 2025.

Primary Purpose:

The School Psychologist will provide specialized expertise and consultation in both psychology and education. By collaborating with educators, parents, and other mental health professionals, the School Psychologist will help ensure that every child learns in a safe, healthy, and supportive environment. Key responsibilities include providing consultations, conducting assessments, participating in team problem solving, and delivering education to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and Write FIE (Full Individual Evaluations): Perform assessments and draft comprehensive reports to communicate findings to parents and staff.
  • Draft IEP Components: Develop and draft applicable components of Individualized Education Programs (IEP).
  • Serve on ARDC (Admission, Review, and Dismissal Committee): Participate actively in ARDC meetings to support student placements and services.
  • Complete Assessments and Reports: Conduct necessary assessments, write reports, and, if needed, serve on ARDC off contract (including during summer break).
Qualifications:
  • Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) Certification: Must hold a valid LSSP certification.
  • Experience: Prior experience in school psychology, particularly within a school setting, is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong consultation, assessment, and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Commitment: Ability to commit to the full contract period and potentially assist off contract as needed.
