Compensation
  • Hourly wage of $24.74-$27.92 per hour
  • Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
  • Typical work week is 40-50 hours per week
  • Two Bonus programs available; paid out every 6 months based on performance.

Work Schedule
  • 5-day work week: Monday-Friday
  • Work schedule typically 5:30am-2:00pm; work until work is completed, usually 8-10 hours per day
  • No layovers, home every day
  • Make 12-15 stops per day; routes cover Southeast Massachusetts
  • Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs
Responsibilities
  • Route delivery, driver assist unload, forklift, pallet jack, and crane.
  • Drive CDL B flatbed to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations
  • Secure pallets using straps and tarps. Strap and unstrap at each delivery.
  • Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle
  • Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers
Requirements
  • Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement.
  • Minimum of 6 months of CDL B delivery driving experience preferred
  • Prior local, multiple-stop delivery using forklift, pallet jack and crane is preferred
  • Familiar with Smart Drive or other fleet safety technology
  • Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen
  • Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
  • Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
  • Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical
  • Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
