Accounting Contractor

• Perform all general accounting processes (including journal entries, account reconciliations, balance sheet and income statement reviews) for a few of the Company’s domestic businesses. 
• Manage the daily banking relationship and administer the banking portal for the entire organization. 
• Manage the company-wide pay card program.
• Train subsidiary teams on banking portal and Belcan corporate accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist foreign and domestic subsidiaries with requests as needed.
• Proactively identify process improvements and facilitate such changes within the organization. 
• Assist in acquisition integration into Belcan processes, systems and procedures.
• Prepare and provide external auditors with requested items during annual audit process.
• Assist FP&A team with inquires and analyses upon request.
• Assist in implementation of new accounting standards, as needed.
• Perform other activities and special projects, as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance 
• Experience with JDE preferred.
• An excellent knowledge of US GAAP is required, combined with the ability to research and propose company positions on complex accounting issues.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to execute and follow-through to produce complete, accurate and timely deliverables.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are required.

• the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
• office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
