Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' mobility and functional needs.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to design and implement personalized therapy plans.
  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, focusing on improving strength, coordination, and gross motor skills.
  • Develop creative and engaging exercises that align with educational goals and student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records, track outcomes, and communicate effectively with team members and families.

Qualifications:

  • Valid California state license/certification as a Physical Therapist.
  • Master's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy is a valuable asset.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing effective therapy interventions.
  • Strong communication skills for successful collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
