Position Type: Full-time, 30-35 hours per week, Full School Year

Position Overview:
Soliant is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with individuals with significant cognitive needs, including those who utilize AAC devices. As an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, the SLP will play a crucial role in supporting students' communication and language development, as well as addressing any associated speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' communication abilities, including both receptive and expressive language skills.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, utilizing evidence-based interventions and AAC strategies.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure a cohesive and holistic approach to student support.
- Monitor and track students' progress over time, adjusting treatment plans as needed to facilitate continued growth and development.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP (Individualized Education Program) planning sessions, and other collaborative activities to support student success.

Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
- Experience working with individuals with significant cognitive needs and/or complex communication disorders preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of AAC devices and other assistive technologies.
