Job Description:

We are looking for a talented and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support students communication skills through effective speech and language therapy, contributing to their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer detailed evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
  • Create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) designed to meet each students unique communication challenges.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support and track student development.
  • Keep precise records of therapy sessions and student progress, adapting therapy plans as needed.
  • Contribute to IEP meetings with professional recommendations and insights based on evaluations.
  • Stay updated with current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Arizona State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Arizona Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (or eligibility for certification).
  • Preferred experience working within a school setting.
  • Strong skills in communication, organization, and teamwork.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
