Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a school in the Bristol, IL area. As a School RN, you will play a crucial role in promoting the health and well-being of students while fostering a safe and supportive learning environment. This position offers the opportunity to utilize your nursing expertise across various age levels and medical needs.

Requirements:

  • Active, Unencumbered RN License in Illinois
  • Associates, BSN, or MSN degree from an accredited institution
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
  • Confidence in nursing practice for all age levels
  • Strong assessment skills
  • Ability to triage multiple students simultaneously
  • Clear charting narration to maintain accurate medical records
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in urgent situations

Strong Preference:

  • Knowledge of tube feeding techniques
  • Experience in pediatric emergencies such as trach/vent/g-tube support, seizure care, etc.
  • Proficiency in English/Spanish bilingual communication
