Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Burley, ID
Position: Full-Time
Dates: 2024-2025 School Year
Work Arrangement: Onsite with possibility for teletherapy
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Providing individualized therapy sessions for students on a one-on-one basis.
- Conducting group therapy sessions to address communication and social skills development.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participating in IEP meetings and other school-related meetings as required.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Active Idaho Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
