Title: Pharmacist Opportunity in Bennington, VT - Full-Time Position

Location: Bennington, VT

Duration: Permanent

Schedule: Variable, with occasional evening shifts required

Hours: Typically works 4x10 or 4x12 schedules (e.g., 8:00 am - 8:00 pm)

Duties:

  • Register with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies
  • Manage the entire operation of the pharmacy department to achieve financial goals
  • Participate in business development activities in the store and community
  • Guide and train pharmacy support personnel, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies
  • Conduct patient-centered services including immunization, MTM, and wellness programs
  • Counsel patients and medical providers on drug use, dosage, interactions, and side effects
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and department facilities
  • Complete continuing education programs as required by state law
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Holds a Vermont Pharmacy License
  • Possesses Immunization Certification (Required)
  • Comfortable giving all vaccines (Required)
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exhibits strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
