Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Blue Ash, OH. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, as well as a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting overall financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
- Enter and reconcile financial transactions including sales, receipts, payments, and bank statements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process invoices, bills, and payments in a timely manner.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure all accounts are settled promptly.
Payroll Processing:
- Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain payroll records and reports.
Bank Reconciliation:
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
General Ledger Maintenance:
- Perform regular general ledger entries and adjustments.
- Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.
Compliance and Audits:
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
Support and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Provide support for special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Education:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.
- Experience with payroll processing and bank reconciliation.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
