Summary:

We are seeking passionate Occupational Therapists (OT) to join our team. The OT will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their academic, social, and developmental goals by addressing barriers to participation and promoting independence in daily activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' needs in areas like daily living activities, fine motor skills, and sensory processing.

  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, collaborating with educators and parents, and providing direct therapy services such as individual and group sessions.

  • Foster inclusive practices, support diverse abilities, and educate stakeholders on strategies to enhance student participation while staying current with best practices in occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant assessment tools, therapeutic techniques, and interventions for school-based OT practice.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusion, diversity, and equity in education.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic school environment.
