About The Position

An urgent care is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Outer Banks, North Carolina.
This position is for an outpatient role with no call requirements. You'll be part of a team consisting of one physician, four providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants), and ten nurses. Required certifications include BLS or ACLS, AANP, and NCCPA. The role involves performing various procedures such as suturing, splinting, burn care, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, elbow reduction, and laceration repairs. The practice includes COVID testing and is equipped with X-ray, iStat, CBC, and seven exam rooms, using the EPIC EMR system.
