This is a 100% remote, full-time position that offers you the opportunity to work on challenging, high-profile projects from the comfort of your own home. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of protection and control systems for our utility-level substation projects. This role requires a deep understanding of AC Schematics, DC Schematics, Wiring Diagrams, SCADA, and the substation project lifecycle at the utility level. Responsibilities:As a Protection & Controls Substation Project Engineer, you will:1. Design and implement complex protection and control systems for substations up to 500KV.2. Develop and interpret AC Schematics, DC Schematics, and Wiring Diagrams.3. Work closely with the project management team to ensure project specifications are met and timelines are followed.4. Utilize SCADA systems to monitor and control substation operations.5. Oversee the entire substation project lifecycle at the utility level, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance.6. Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and regulations.7. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.Qualifications:To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should possess:1. A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.2. A Professional Engineering License (PE) is required.3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of protection and control systems for substations.4. Extensive knowledge of AC Schematics, DC Schematics, Wiring Diagrams, and SCADA systems.5. Experience with substations up to 500KV.6. A comprehensive understanding of the substation project lifecycle at the utility level.7. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.8. Strong communication and team collaboration skills.9. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.10.
