Facilitates transmission of meds to beds, prescriptions to our pharmacy, performs data entry, and delivers meds to beds, medications to the patient prior to discharge. Also functions as a pharmacy technician within the Community Pharmacy when needed.Key Responsibilities and Duties:● Below are the duties and responsibilities for this position. ● Promotes the meds-to-beds discharge prescription program ● Facilitate processing, payment and delivery of meds-to-beds? prescriptions ● Provides prompt and courteous service to all customers in the Community Pharmacy ● Assists in delivering medication to the appropriate customers using proper identifiers and afford them the opportunity to speak with a pharmacist ● Performs prescription/refill data entry and dispensing duties under direct supervision of a pharmacist and in accordance with federal and state laws with minimal errors ● Processes prescriptions and refills to appropriate PBMs in accordance with their dispensing parameters ● Assists in resolving third party rejections ● Assists in inventory control Service Behaviors: The Services Behaviors are critical performance measures that should be exhibited by every employee.
