We are seeking a skilled finance professional for a Pricing Specialist opportunity with a client located in New Albany, OH. This person will help create price quotes for various projects based on customer needs. 

What you’ll do:

  • You’ll help with pricing for products by entering data into systems and making sure everything is accurate.
  • You’ll maintain a record of product prices and track updates.
  • You'll gather missing information and follow up to keep everything on track.
  • You’ll analyze sales reports and make sure part numbers are accurate.
  • You’ll keep a log of all quotes and communicate updates to customers and team members.
  • You’ll work with different departments (like sales, production, and engineering) to make sure quotes are accurate.
  • You’ll occasionally evaluate production processes and ensure labor standards are correct.
  • You'll download and apply the right pricing from customer websites.
  • You'll handle customer inquiries and issues via calls, emails, and chats in a professional way.
  • You’ll update prices, process changes, and assist with additional charges if needed.
  • You'll help manage projects from start to finish and support other team members when needed.

What you need:

  • Strong skills in Excel and MS Office.
  • Great communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to analyze data and solve problems.
  • No fewer than 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or similar field is an absolute must

Pay Transparency Notice

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;
  • other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
